A mum-to-be was shot dead minutes after leaving a police station.
Noha Elizabeth Isam Chahine Martínez had been detained for several hours before a judge released her with conditions.
The decision was because she was pregnant.

As soon as she walked out of the police station, she headed to a hamburger stand on the street for something to eat.
But she had only walked 100 yards when a car suddenly blocked her path.
A suspected hitman then got out of the vehicle and blasted her multiple times, according to reports.
The 35-year-old woman died at the scene.
The shooting took place in the city of Quevedo, Ecuador, on Friday (20 Jun).
Noha, a Colombian national who had been living in Ecuador for several years, had been arrested with two other people, as reported by Need To Know.

The trio was stopped by cops while allegedly transporting drugs in a van with Peruvian license plates.
She was in the company of a woman and a man who is believed to be the leader of a criminal group known as ‘Los Lobos’.
The gang has been linked to drug trafficking, homicides, kidnappings, and other criminal activity.
An investigation into her death is ongoing.
The first half of 2025 has been the most violent in Ecuador’s recent history.
During the first four months of this year alone, nearly 3,100 violent murders have been recorded, a 58.2% increase on the same period in 2024.
