When her companions – a 31-year-old man and a 33-year-old woman – reached her, she was unresponsive.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene at the Pedra do Elefante (Elephant Rock) in Andradas, about 100 miles north of São Paulo, Brazil.
They had to trek through around 3.7 miles of dense forest to reach her, as reported by Need To Know.

Daiane was pronounced dead at the scene from multiple injuries she had sustained in the fall on Saturday (5 Jul).
The Andradas fire brigade say the trio were “experienced abseilers” and that the reasons for Daiane’s fall “remain unknown”.
Daiane often shared her love of nature and extreme sports on social media.

She had worked for more than 10 years at the Department for Environment in Cordeirópolis, where she was responsible for environmental education.
She will be laid to rest in Cordeirópolis – her hometown – today (7 Jul).
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
A spokesperson for the Cordeirópolis Climbing Training Centre said: “After reaching the summit, the three climbers began their descent in the afternoon by abseiling back down, with Daiane going first.
“For this reason, the other climbers were unable to see the circumstances that led to her fall.”

Faby said: “I can’t believe this, guys — such a cheerful person, always smiling. She loved working out.”
And Luana said: “How sad! She was such an intelligent and cheerful woman.
“I had the pleasure of working with her during my environmental internship at the department.
“My condolences to all her friends and family.”
