A wrestler is so determined to get ‘cauliflower ears’ that he had 20kg weights dropped on them.
Marcus Borger has been involved in the sport since he was five years old.
And the 21-year-old is so desperate to “look cool” that he has his heart set on developing a cauliflower ear, also known as wrestler’s ear.

The condition is a deformity of the outer ear caused by blunt trauma or repeated injuries to the ear.
Rugby forwards often get them due to taking part in scrums, rucks and tackles.

In order to reach his goal, Marcus has been getting the weights dropped on his ears, hitting them with poles and squeezing them with pliers.
The plumber’s grandad, Alex Borger, was a wrestler and competed in the 1967 Olympics.
“All my life I’ve been told that ‘real men have cauliflower ears and a crooked nose’,” Marcus, from Copenhagen, Denmark, told Need To Know.
“Both my father and grandfather have cauliflower ears, and I looked up to my grandfather.
“It’s not to fit in that I do it, but because I think it looks cool.
“I’ve tried to get cauliflower ear in many different ways.
“I’ve have taken two weight plates and hit them against my ear, and I’ve tried squeezing them with a pair of parrot pliers.
“It was very painful, but I’m not worried about damaging my ears.
“My family are very supportive and thinks it’s a lot of fun, and my friends help me film the videos.”
