An angry passenger allegedly fractured an airport worker’s spine after a row over baggage fees.
Four SpiceJet employees reportedly sustained serious injuries after the traveller attacked them when they tried to charge him for extra luggage.
Shocking footage filmed on 26 July at Srinagar International Airport, India, showed one staff member being hit with queue stand.

Another employee was reportedly hit in the jaw while helping a colleague who fainted, as reported by Need to Know.
The passenger was trying to board a flight to Delhi and was carrying 16kg of cabin luggage – well above the airline’s 7kg limit.
When asked to pay the additional fee, he allegedly attempted to bypass security and force his way into the aerobridge.
The airline claims that after being intercepted and returned to the gate by CISF personnel, the officer launched a physical attack on four ground crew members.
Airport officials eventually subdued the passenger.
A SpiceJet spokesperson said: “Our staff members suffered a spinal fracture and serious jaw injuries after being attacked with punches, repeated kicks and a queue stand.
“One SpiceJet employee collapsed unconscious on the floor, but the passenger continued kicking and hitting the fainted employee.
“Another staff member suffered bleeding from the nose and mouth after receiving a forceful kick to the jaw while bending down to assist the colleague who had fainted.”
The airline has filed a police complaint, submitted CCTV evidence, and initiated the process to place the individual on its no-fly list.
It also escalated the matter to the Civil Aviation Ministry, urging strict action.
