An injured husky was carried to safety after his knackered owner phoned for help at a popular hiking spot.
The tired owner attempted to carry the poor 35kg animal down the mountain before exhaustion got the better of him.
The pooch, Prince, had cut his paws open and was unable to walk himself.

After the owner started to stumble, he made the wise decision to call for help.
The pair were halfway down Scafell mountain, hiking through the Lake District, when the walker contacted Cumbria police who informed Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team.
The call was made at about 9pm on Saturday (9 Aug) and after arriving with a stretcher to carry Prince, the rescue team made it to safety by 3:30am the following day, as reported by Need To Know.

A spokesperson for the Wasdale Mountain Rescue Team said: “When his owner finally realised that he would not make it down to the valley floor without hurting either himself or Prince, he wisely called for help.
“The Team Leader called the team out and they made their way towards Burnmoor Tarn, with the walker still descending slowly.
“Once on scene, Prince was as good as gold and happily accepted the stretcher carry back to Brackenclose, along with much attention from everyone present
“We hope Prince’s paws heal quickly, and his owner is none the worse for wear after his efforts to get down on his own.”
