A woman who’s splashed more than £500,000 on plastic surgery was left red-faced when officials refused to believe her driving licence photo was really her.
Model and influencer Janaina Prazeres, 35 – once crowned Playboy’s “Perfect Woman” – has had more than 20 procedures over the years, transforming her looks completely.
But when she went to renew her licence, staff didn’t recognise her from the snap taken at just 18.

“I was waiting at the driver’s license renewal office when a staff member called me aside,” Janaina told Need To Know.
“They took me to a separate room and said there was an inconsistency between the photo on my old document and how I look now.

“They asked several times if I was really the same person, requested other documents, and I had to explain that I had undergone many plastic surgeries.
“I was surprised and a little embarrassed, but I tried to stay calm.”
Janaina had her first boob job at 19 and has since gone under the knife countless times.
She said: “I have had two rhinoplasties, three breast implant replacements, HD liposuction, traditional liposuctions, facial bioplasty and a gluteal bioplasty.
“As well as facial harmonisation, bee venom application, lip fillers, botox, peelings, as well as intimate treatments like collagen application.

“And that does not include the aesthetic maintenance procedures I do regularly.”
In the end, officials made her redo all her biometrics – including new fingerprints, signature and a fresh photo – before finally renewing her licence.
Janaina said: “I was so nervous because it seemed like they were doubting my identity.
“It was a mix of worry and even a bit of fear that they wouldn’t allow me to renew my license.
“At the same time, I understood that for them it was strange to compare a photo of me at 18 with the woman I am today.

“I had to take a new photo on the spot, and only then did they accept to renew my license.
“Now I will have an updated document that shows who I really am today.”
The model has faced trolls suggesting she suffers from body dysmorphic disorder – which she denies.
She said: “I’ve just never stopped taking care of myself.
“It bothers me when people say that because it feels like they are undermining my choices.
“I have never done anything out of illness, but because I like to feel more and more beautiful.

“For me it is natural to pursue the best version of my body.”
She admits the changes were “a little radical”, but insists she has no regrets.
Janaina added: “Looking back, I see that the transformation was intense and even a little radical.
“At certain times I needed psychological help to deal with my own image, like when I spent 48 hours without looking in the mirror on medical advice.
“But today I feel happy, fulfilled, and I don’t regret it.
“Every procedure is part of the woman I have become.”
