The surgeon who allegedly performed a boob job on a 14-year-old girl who died days later has reportedly been suspended.
Paloma Nicole Arellano Escobedo passed away in hospital a week after the surgery.
Her father Carlos Said Arellano had no prior knowledge of the op.

He thought he had died of neurological complications resulting from a Covid-19 infection.
But during the funeral, he realised she had undergone cosmetic surgery.
An examination confirmed she had breast implants and surgical scars, as reported by Need To Know.

Carlos filed a complaint and demanded an investigation.
Paloma passed away in hospital in the city of Durango, Mexico, on Saturday (20 Sept).
According to reports, the teen underwent liposuction, a Brazilian Butt Lift, and a boob job – high-risk procedures even for adults.
The surgeon responsible is a member of the Mexican Council of Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery.

Following the father’s complaint, the Prosecutor’s Office ordered for the victim’s body to undergo an autopsy.
The preliminary examination confirmed cerebral edema and lung damage, although a final pathological report is expected, which will take 10 to 20 days because the body had already been treated by the funeral home.

He has reportedly been suspended from practising as the police probe continues.
