The lizard was so large that it took all hands on deck, with seven officers working to secure it.
Officers in Sarasota, Florida, joked that the gator had plans to stay for the holidays, but they were cut short as they had to say “see you later, alligator!”
The animal, which weighs 600lbs, was safely relocated to a nearby alligator farm, as reported by Need To Know.
Alligator incidents happen frequently in the southern states in the US, with a gator incident occurring 100 miles north of Sarasota in Orlando, where another smaller gator had to be wrangled and safely relocated.
