A young boxer was stabbed to death with a machete while defending his sister.
Josué David Hernández was at home with his four sisters when tragedy struck.
One sibling was allegedly assaulted and Josué stepped in to defend her.
A man then allegedly stabbed Josué with the machete during the confrontation.

The 20-year-old died at the scene as the suspect fled the house in San Luis Potosí, located north of Mexico City, Mexico, on Tuesday (2 Dec).
The emergency services arrived at the scene, but could only confirm the boxer’s death.
The suspect still remains at large.
Josué was considered a rising star in Mexican boxing.
Despite his young age, he had already excelled in his early amateur bouts after starting the sport at the age of 15.
He took part in state tournaments where he won several amateur championships, as reported by Need To Know.

He also participated in exhibition fights and served as a sparring partner for top pros.
He was preparing for his long-awaited professional debut before his alleged murder, scheduled for early next year.
His trainer Titán Rodríguez said: “Today, I woke up to the devastating and heartbreaking news that you are no longer here.
“My friend, my brother, my running partner. So many dreams to fulfil. So many conversations and all the trust we had in each other to achieve everything.
“A part of my heart goes with you.
God only knows why these things happen, your passing hurts me deeply, and I’m going to work incredibly hard to achieve all the goals we had together.
“I love you very much, Josué David Hernández, may God receive you in his holy kingdom.
“It’s time to shine in heaven, my king.”
The investigation into Josué’s death is ongoing.
