A woman dubbed ‘Britain’s best mum’ has defended a lady who is refusing to host Christmas for her family as they always turn up ‘empty-handed’ because she ‘earns the most’.
The disgruntled 43-year-old has been the go-to for the last seven years.
But now she’s had enough; especially as the celebration is costing her “a fortune” as per the post on Mumsnet.

Another mum, who can relate to the anonymous poster, is Carla Bellucci.
She’s charging everyone, including her kids, £250 each to dine at hers on Christmas day.
And if they don’t like it, they can “go elsewhere”.
The 44-year-old former glamour model, from Herts, has said that people nowadays are “total cheapskates.
“I think it’s totally bonkers,” she told Need To Know.

“Sounds like her family members are cheapskates – it’s so awful.
“Why should we be expected to do it?
“It’s absolutely wrong on all levels.”
The original poster claims her sister usually arrives carrying a pack of bread rolls, but everyone else, including her brother, doesn’t contribute.
Even though she’s suggested a rota for hosting, this was instantly dismissed, as her family said that because she “earns the most” and has “the nice house” that it’s her “job to host”.
Other comments include her being “selfish” with trying to break the family tradition.

Carla said: “[They] need to get a better job.
“And then host for everyone.
“It’s not one person’s responsibility.
“Everyone should chip in or do what I do and charge.
“Then see how many people turn up.”
Despite Carla’s kids, Tanisha, 20 and Jayden, 19, being “highly disappointed” by the decision, they have been left with no choice.
She added: “If they want to have a family Christmas, then they need to pay me.
“I’m not letting them – or anyone – take me for a ride.
“They don’t live here anymore, so they count as guests this year.
“If they wish to stay the night, I’ll charge them for that too.
“If I could charge more, like a grand, then I would.
“When I suggested this to my family, they were quite enraged with me.
“They need to get a life – and should be grateful I’m taking the stress off them.
“I’m not a mug.”
