The boss of a robotics firm let his own bot batter him in a stunt to shut up critics who claimed the company’s high tech videos were faked.
CEO Zhao Tongyang stepped into the ring with the firm’s latest T800 model after some viewers insisted earlier clips were either CGI or souped up with computer trickery.
EngineAI posted new footage showing off the T800’s flashy moves and cutting edge tech, but that only fuelled suspicions online.

So Zhao decided to prove the doubters wrong by suiting up in protective gear and taking the hits himself, as reported by Need To Know.
In the clip, Zhao is seen strapping on a helmet and body armour before facing off against the towering bot.
After a quick demo of the robot’s abilities, the CEO squares up.
The T800 storms forward and fires a kick straight at Zhao’s face, which he dodges by a whisker.
Moments later, the machine boots him full in the stomach, sending him flying backwards.
Zhao sits up grinning from ear to ear after being launched across the floor, clearly thrilled that the spectacle went exactly to plan.
The clip of the boss taking a light hearted pasting racked up more than 136,000 views along with 1,735 likes and 124 comments.
One viewer said: “Robots are evolving too fast; this is pure monster. The future is a bit scary…”

Another commented: “I don’t know mind-reading, but the smiles on the employees’ faces at the end of the video were definitely genuine.”
A third joked: “This kick was completely devoid of any skill; it was purely a personal grudge.”
One worried user said: “This design does resemble RoboCop; security guards are probably going to lose their jobs again.”

And another warned: “It might not be a good thing. Civilian robots should be equipped with safety procedures and should not be allowed to use force against humans!”
