A suspected watch thief was caught by the brave victim and a passerby in a posh street in the capital.
He was allegedly robbed of his expensive timepiece by a man.
The victim was able to grab the suspect with the help of a witness.

The pair managed to get the watch back during a melee.
But the suspect managed to escape.
It happened in Margaret Street between Marylebone and Fitzrovia in central London.
The average property price on the road is £2m, as reported on Need To Know.
A source claimed: “A watch thief robbed a man.
“The man, together with passersby on the street, managed to grab him and recover the watch.
“But the thief managed to escape.”
It happened on Sunday (14 Dec) at about 3 pm.
Londoner Chris Bishop fumed: “Ah, another one of those muggings that lots of folk say aren’t happening.”

Steve Robinson joked: “It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas.”
Linda added: “Vile.”
Another said: “Community spirit.”

The Met Police has been approached for comment.
