A businessman’s body has been found in the sea, four days after he fell from a jet ski.
Father-of-three Jhon Pool Pacheco was spotted floating in the water off a beach yesterday (8 Jan) afternoon.
Lifeguards brought the 35-year-old ashore and confirmed he had died.

Jhon had been riding a jet ski with a friend off Caixa D’Aço beach, south west of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on Sunday (4 Jan) when they fell into the water.
The friend, whose identity has not been released, was wearing a life jacket and managed to swim towards shore.
He was found about 400m from nearby Estaleirinho beach at around 11pm that night.

Jhon, however, could not be located and a major search was launched at first light.
Firefighters, police, navy personnel and volunteers scoured land, sea and air using boats, jet skis, drones with thermal cameras, helicopters and sniffer dogs.
The operation continued uninterrupted until Jhon’s body was found off Estaleirinho beach.
Jhon owned a chain of sushi restaurants and was passionate about bodybuilding, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and marathon running.
A tattoo enthusiast, he was awarded his BJJ purple belt in June, as reported by Need To Know.

He completed a marathon in October, having taken up running less than five months earlier.
He wrote at the time: “I started racing in May, and today I took on one of the toughest challenges out there – the Pomerode International Marathon.
“I crossed the 42km finish line in four hours and 10 minutes, joining the tiny 0.01% of people worldwide who’ve completed a marathon. An incredible feeling of accomplishment.”
A Palmeiras supporter, he travelled to Lima, Peru, in November to watch the Copa Libertadores final against Flamengo.
After his team’s defeat, he wrote: “The trophy slipped through our fingers and the defeat will fade, but no one can take away the trip or the friendships Lima gave us.
“We came home without the title, but with a lifetime of memories. Life doesn’t always bring you victory… but it always brings moments that matter more than that.”
Originally from Balneário Camboriú, Jhon lived in neighbouring Camboriú with his wife and their three young children.
He wrote in December: “Ohana is all about family, laughter, good energy, unity and gratitude.”
