Tons of pebbles were bizarrely dumped on a seaside town’s roads and paths in the aftermath of rampaging Storm Goretti.
Mounds of the smooth, eroded stones were strewn across its scenic promenade.

Storm lashed waves and winds threw part of its pebbly beach across its pavement and road.
Tom, who runs Kapes Kiosk, has never seen anything like it.
“I’ve lived in Sidmouth my whole life,” he told Need To Know.
“Most of it on or around the esplanade.
“I’ve had Kapes for three years.
“But have never seen stones and rocks that size over the main sea wall and on the road in that position.
“The size of them and the distance they were moved over the sea wall was pretty impressive.”
