Footage shows powerful gusts tossing an ATR 42-500 like a ragdoll just seconds before it was due to land.
Just feet above the runway, the aircraft suddenly banked sharply to one side, with the tip of a wing nearly touching the ground.
The pilots reacted instantly, pulling the nose up and executing a successful go-around.

After the shocking near miss, the continuing extreme conditions forced the plane to divert back to its origin on San Andrés Island in the Caribbean, as reported by Need To Know.
What should have been a 25-minute flight ended up lasting an hour, while passengers were left right where they started.
The incident occurred yesterday (2 Feb) at El Embrujo Airport on Providencia Island, Colombia.
Fierce winds from a cold front, which has been affecting San Andrés and Providencia since Friday (30 Jan), were battering the region at the time.
The Satena Airlines pilots received huge praise for their efforts.
Auri wrote: “Kudos to the pilot and co-pilot for handling the situation so well – everyone made it out safely.”
Others questioned why the craft was ever allowed in the air that day.
One person said: “I don’t get why aviation authorities cleared that plane to fly to Providencia.”

David added: “Unfortunately, the airport is very small and doesn’t have indicators for wind shear or crosswinds.”
