A police officer was killed and at least 13 other people were injured when a carnival ride collapsed at a fair.
Horror footage shows the carriage detaching from one of the arms of the ‘Tsunami’ swing as it rotated.
Fairgoers remained strapped into their seats when the carriage crashed to the ground with an almighty thud.

Around 19 people were on the ride when it broke at about 6.15pm on Saturday (7 Feb).
Police inspector Jagdish Prasad, who was on duty at the scene, rushed over to help the injured.
He was reportedly struck in the head and face when the swing suddenly broke from the other end as well, trapping others.
He was critically hurt and later died while receiving treatment.
Originally from Mathura, Prasad was due to retire in March after 36 years in the police.
He is survived by his wife, two daughters and a son.
Deputy Commissioner Ayush Sinha told local media: “The inspector died while rescuing people.”
The 13 other injured people were also rushed to two different hospitals, as reported by Need To Know.
The incident led to the Surajkund Fair in Faridabad, in India’s Haryana state, being evacuated.
Earlier in the day, strong winds caused a gate at the fair to collapse, injuring an adult and a child, who were also taken to hospital.
“The incidents are being investigated and strict action will be taken against those responsible,” said Sinha.
It is believed the ride malfunction was due to a mechanical fault rather than the weather.
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Saini said: “I am deeply saddened by the accident that occurred during the Surajkund Mela held in Faridabad.
“I extend my heartfelt condolences to the families of the person who lost their life in this tragedy.
“Necessary instructions have also been issued to the relevant authorities to ensure proper and immediate treatment for those who were injured.
“The Haryana government is working with full commitment and sensitivity to provide every possible form of assistance to the injured and their families.”
The Surajkund Mela, now in its 39th year, began on 31 January and is scheduled to continue until Sunday (15 Feb).
The fair’s carnival ride area was temporarily closed for the investigation and safety checks.
