England star Harry Maguire’s World Cup chances could be dented due to his Greek court case delay which may harm his US Visa application.
The Manchester United defender was a key figure in England’s last two campaigns.
Injuries and a lack of form have contributed to Maguire slipping down the pecking order for the Three Lions.

With a lack of top options available, the defender who is set to return to first team football this month may find himself in the mix to make the cut.
However, a court case that has been delayed for a fourth time may rubbish the star’s chances.
In August 2020, Maguire was arrested after an alleged fight involving his family outside a bar Mykonos, Greece, as reported by Need To Know.

The footballer was convicted of attacking and attempting to bribe police officers.
A retrial was granted on appeal whilst his conviction was ‘nullified’ in line with Greek law.
The hearing in Syros was set to start on 8 October but has been pushed back till 4 March.
Magurie denies any wrongdoing.
According to the Government Foreign Travel Advice, a record of an arrest may prevent you from applying for an ESTA visa waiver.
The document states: “ESTA is an automated system that determines the eligibility of visitors to travel to the US under the Visa Waiver Program (VWP).
“You may not be able to apply for an ESTA visa waiver if you have been arrested, even if the arrest did not result in a criminal conviction.”

Maguire’s last England appearance came in a 2-0 away win against the Republic of Ireland on 7 September 2024 – whilst Lee Carsley was in charge.
The World Cup takes place between 11 June and 19 July.
England play Croatia, Ghana and Panama in the group stage.
He has been capped 64 times by the Three Lions and has seven goals.
Maguire was in the squads for the last two World Cups in 2022 in Qatar and 2018 in Russia.
He was also in the group for 2020 Euros – played across the continent – but missed out on the 2024 tournament in Germany due to injury.
