Footage showed the masked pair trying to batter through security shutters in the early hours.
It happened around 4am on Monday (2 March) in Dundee, as reported by Need To Know.
During the attempt, each man took it in turns to repeatedly boot the entrance but to no avail.

They were eventually interrupted by someone shouting at them from above the shop.
One of the men then told the person to come down to open the shop because he was “starving”.
After being refused, the pair walked off.
“These cretins decided to try and kick our door in resulting in severe damage on our brand new shop front,” said a spokesperson for Grossett’s, the shop targeted.
“The police are involved but if anyone has any information on their identity please let us know.”
Viewers were shocked.
One said: “So sorry to see this guys.
“Just awful.

“Hopefully they’ll be caught.”
Another added: “Shocking, take care of yourselves.”
While someone else said: “Some folk will go to extremes for some square slice.”

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 4am on Monday, 2 March, 2026, we received a report of an attempted break-in at a premises on Arbroath Road, Dundee.
“Enquiries are ongoing.”
