A bungling drug dealer who claimed he was carrying just “a bit of cash” was caught red-handed with thousands of pounds – and a huge drugs haul at home.
Sokol Hazizi, 34, aroused suspicion after a bizarre half-hour round trip at a train station.
Plain-clothes officers from British Transport Police’s County Lines Taskforce spotted him boarding a train at Milton Keynes – only to return shortly after.

They stopped him at the barriers to question his strange movements.
Hazizi initially claimed he was visiting a friend – before changing his story and saying he was heading to deposit “a bit of cash” but had forgotten his bank card.
Officers quickly discovered the truth.
A search revealed he was carrying £2,000 in cash.
He was arrested on 4 December – and things only got worse from there.
A search of his home uncovered another £1,000 in cash and a stash of herbal cannabis worth £35,000.
Hazizi, of Silbury Boulevard, Milton Keynes, later appeared at Aylesbury Crown Court on 27 March, as reported by Need To Know.
He pleaded guilty to possession of criminal property and possession with intent to supply Class B drugs.
The dealer was jailed for nine months.

BTP Sergeant Julian Mason said: “Hazizi tried – and failed – to bluff officers into believing his motives were entirely innocent.
“Sadly for him, our officers are highly skilled and experts at recognising the behaviour of anyone involved in criminal activity.
“Hazizi’s next trip was to custody and subsequently a jail cell.
“Our officers patrol the rail network 24/7. If you’re using the railway for nefarious means we will find you, seize your drugs and proceeds of crime and bring you before the courts.
“If you see anything suspicious on the railway text us on 61016.”
