“I was eating lunch and saw [the] girl get on a scooter.
“Her friend showed her how to turn the bike on.
“I got my phone out to record and tried to do a countdown from five.
“By the time I got to four she had already gone into the back of the taxi.”
The entrepreneur was out in Koh Samui, Thailand, when he spotted the blunder.
After hitting the back of the taxi, she was immediately slapped with a £230 fine.
Despite being shocked by the crash, he revealed that scooter crashes are very common in the area.
He said: “We were shocked, but found it a little bit funny as no one was hurt.
“It’s funny because so many people in Thailand come here who have never even thought about riding a bike or scooter and just get on one anyway and hope for the best.
“A lot of people do not wear helmets.
“One a day dies on Samui on average as far as I’m aware.
“This time, it was funny, but a lot of the time it’s not.
“People end up in hospital ruining their holiday – or worse.”
Viewers were left shocked by the clip.
One person said: “Why is it that as soon as they’re in Thailand they think they have magical powers that make them able to ride a bike?”

One other person said: “Hand the keys back, please.”
Another person added: “Please, it’s for other people’s safety if you can’t ride a bike, don’t rent.”
One person said: “Immediately takes her keys.”

Another person said: “And she planned to have a passenger behind her.”
