A well-known actress and presenter is among at least 235 dead following the Venezuela earthquakes.
Yorgelis Delgado was inside the Coral Beach building in La Guaira when it partially collapsed after the earthquakes struck on Wednesday (24 June).
Rescue teams managed to pull her 14-year-old daughter out alive, although she was injured.

Her husband – the girl’s father – was also rescued, but the soap star and her mother did not survive.
Yorgelis, 43, became known for her participation in the children’s and teenagers’ programme “El Club de los Tigritos”, where she acted, danced and presented.
The show marked an entire generation of Venezuelan viewers and made her a familiar face on television in the country.

Known widely by her first name, she later went on to co-present the programmes “Rugemania” and “Atómico”.
Originally from La Guaira, she was a co-lead in the 1996 telenovela “De sol a sol”, a lead in the 1996 telenovela “Un poquito de suerte”, and a lead in the 1997 telenovela “Entre tú y yo”.
Yorgelis retired from the entertainment industry in 2009, and in 2012 had her first and only child, Miranda.
She had more than 150,000 followers across her social media accounts, where she regularly shared photos of herself with her daughter.
Fans have been leaving condolence messages online, as reported by Need To Know.
La Guaira is among the areas worst affected by the magnitude 7.2 and 7.5 earthquakes, with more than 100 collapsed buildings.
According to one database, more than 11,200 people are missing in the port city.
