Eight cows were towed to safety, lashed to a boat after tumbling from cliffs and becoming stranded on rocks.
The livestock belonged to farmer Huw Richards.
The dramatic rescue operation was launched at 11.30am on Tuesday, September 22, after fisherman Rhys Wonnacott spotted the cows the previous evening and reported them to the coastguard.

But it was too dark to attempt a rescue at Ellen’s Well near Angle, Anglesey.
The rescue team regrouped the following morning and devised a plan involving the RNLI, Milford Haven Harbour Patrol and Rhys’ fishing vessel, as reported by Need To Know.
A spokesperson for Angle Lifeboat RNLI said: “At 11:30am on Tuesday morning the crew were tasked alongside Milford Haven Harbour Patrol to provide safety cover to local farmers and a local fishing vessel attempting to recover eight cows that had fallen from cliffs at Ellen’s Well, Angle.
“The lifeboat was soon on scene and assisted in deploying the lifeboat’s inflatable Y boat while local farmers and equipment were transferred to the cove in which the cows were now stranded.
“As the tide continued to flood, the cows were coaxed towards the water’s edge and secured with lines.
“One at a time, the cows were then enticed into the water and taken around to Angle Point to be landed on the beach.
“By 2:45pm all of the cows were now recovered safe and well to the beach.”
Farmer Mr Richards said the rescue was challenging because the area was surrounded by rocks.
“We put a proper harness around their heads and made sure to keep their heads above the water and guide them gently back to dry land,” he said.
“It only took an hour and a half to get the cows back to shore.”
Mr Wonnacott said: “It was definitely stressful.
“There was the risk of hurting the cows whilst bringing them back to safety and making sure you were guiding them back gently.”
Mr Richards praised those involved in the rescue.
“I owe a big thank you to Rhys Wonnacott, the boys on the lifeboat and harbour patrol, who came out to rescue the cows.
“They all made it back to shore safely with only a few cuts and bruises from where they fell over the cliff but apart from that, the cattle were in good health.
“It went really well.”
