A man has been convicted after hurling a flaming petrol bomb at a hotel housing migrants in a terrifying attack caught on CCTV.
Mark Neville, 65, was filmed lighting the device before throwing it over a gate towards the entrance of the building in Islington, north London.
The fire broke out in the hotel grounds, but was quickly extinguished by security guards.

No one was injured in the incident, which happened at 10:53 pm on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
Detectives tracked Neville using CCTV footage, following his movements from the scene to the door of his flat, as reported by Need To Know.

Local residents helped identify him, while forensic evidence also linked him to the attack.
A specialist fire investigation dog named Simba, a nine-year-old springer spaniel, helped officers find a glove containing Neville’s DNA in a nearby bin.
His DNA was also linked to glass fragments from the petrol bomb.
Police searches of Neville’s flat uncovered internet searches and messages relating to far-right activists, migration and asylum seekers.
The Met said the evidence indicated he was motivated by hatred and anger towards immigration.
Neville, of Pear Tree Street, Islington, was arrested less than two days after the attack.
He initially denied involvement, but later admitted he was the man captured in the footage.
He pleaded guilty at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Wednesday, October 28, to attempted arson being reckless as to endanger life, possession of a bladed article and possession of a prohibited weapon, a stun gun, in a private place.
The hotel on Dingley Road is no longer being used to house migrants.
