The owner immediately informed the police and officers arrived at the scene to carry out an investigation.
They quickly discovered five additional skulls as well as other human remains and animal bones.
Further skulls and skeletal remains were found after the area was cordoned off and excavations had taken place.

The macabre discovery took place at a construction site in the town of Ostende, just south of the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires, on Saturday (1 Mar).
Residents informed officers that they believe religious rituals were performed at the house, as reported by Need To Know.
Investigators are now looking into the possibility that the bones – some of which were burned – were used in black magic rites.
Another line of investigation is centred on the possibility that they may have been robbed from nearby cemeteries.
But the police have received no reports of any grave desecrations in the area.
Authorities are carrying out forensic checks on the remains to try to identify the individuals and how long they had been buried at the property.
A police spokesperson said: “Until forensic experts determine the age, gender and other aspects of the remains, we cannot arrive at any conclusions.”
