UK Eurovision winner, Martin Lee, left his life savings to his wife, and fellow Brotherhood of Man star, Sandra.

Brotherhood of Man won the 1976 Eurovision Song Contest with Save Your Kisses for Me.

The song reached number one in more than 30 countries and became one of the best-selling Eurovision singles in the contest’s history.

Lee co-wrote many of the group’s songs including Angelo and Figaro, which also both reached number one in the UK.

Documents show he left £156,831 in his will, reduced to £141,192 after deductions.

And it all went to his wife Sandra, 80, who he was married to for 45 years as reported by Need To Know.

Soon after she joined Brotherhood of Man in late 1973, they began a relationship and the couple was living together by the time of the Eurovision win in 1976.

They married in August 1979.

The couple from Cobham, Surrey, were still performing together in Brotherhood of Man until retirement in 2020.

At the time of Lee’s death, a band spokesperson said: “It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our great friend and colleague Brotherhood of Man’s Martin Lee.
