Several bodies have been found inside a car submerged underwater with two of them believed to belong to missing children who were abducted by their father.
Police made the discovery whilst desperately searching for Jeffrey, 10, and Emma, eight.
The two children disappeared last Saturday (17 May) afternoon.

They were allegedly kidnapped by their father, Klaas Bijil, 67.An amber alert was issued by authorities who were on the hunt for a silver Toyota Avensis.

At around 2am on Monday (19 May), police pulled this same car from a lake which had a license plate that matched what they were looking for.
Investigators discovered multiple bodies inside the vehicle, as reported by Need To Know.
Police are certain that the car belonged to Klaas and assume that Jeffrey and Emma were inside.
The exact identities of all bodies found in the car has not yet been confirmed.

Police are investigating the vehicle and the events that led up to the car ending up in the lake.
The car was pulled out of water near Renselweg in Winschoten, a city in the municipality of Oldambt in the northeast of the Netherlands.
Jeffery and Emma were taken at around 3.30pm on Saturday afternoon from the village of Beerta, also in the municipality of Oldambt.
The last sighting of the Toyota Avensis was at around 3.45pm as the car travelled on the A7 near Winschoten.

According to police, he left a letter at his home which indicated that he wanted to take the life of his children and himself.
Local press have reported that the children’s parents lived separately.
Relatives of the family have reportedly blackened their profile pictures on Facebook since the heartbreaking discovery.
