A rescue dog was returned to a shelter with her fur shaved just seven hours after being adopted.
Kuno, a fluffy mixed-breed, looked unrecognisable when she was brought back.
The dog’s thick coat had been stripped away, leaving raw, pink skin exposed.

The adopter claimed they had attempted to groom Kuno at home, but the shelter described the results as “deeply upsetting”.
“Her eyes showed confusion and pain,” staff told Need To Know.
The shocking incident sparked outrage online, with animal lovers demanding stricter adoption checks and better education around pet care.
Experts warned that shaving a dog like Kuno could be traumatic and harmful to their health, particularly for rescue animals already recovering from neglect.
The charity has now taken Kuno back into care, where she is receiving proper treatment and comfort.
She is being looked after at Asan City Shelter in South Korea.
