Margiory, who had extensive experience in radio, TV, and digital media, had been undergoing treatment in the Colombian capital Bogotá for two years.
She passed away while surrounded by her loved ones on Sunday (21 Dec).
Her family said she was always surrounded by love and asked for respect at this difficult time.
The presenter was born in Valencia in Venezuela, and began her professional journey at Radio América.

Margiory became a familiar face to Venezuelan audiences as the presenter of the news show ‘Entre Noticias’.
She also worked for DAT TV and Globovisión, among others.
During her health battle, she shared messages of strength and hope on social media, as reported by Need To Know.
In one of her last posts on Instagram in July, she left a message for her four-year-old daughter.
Margiory said: “Although these four years haven’t been easy for either of us, I’ve tried to follow my instincts to fulfil my role as a mother.
“Through trial and error, I move forward, asking God, the Virgin Mary, and the Holy Spirit to guide and sustain me so I can give you the best of myself, despite my inner turmoil and the health challenges I’ve faced since you were two.

“I don’t doubt that I’m the kind of mum who doesn’t know how to set limits with you (it’s been hard for me).
“However, with that truth, I’ve managed to get rid of the burden of guilt and recognise that I’m the perfect mum for you because you chose me.
“I trust you, my daughter. I appreciate it when you ask me to play with you on the floor, and you understand that we can’t right now.
“I’m amazed by your maturity and your desire to take care of me.
“I love it when you tell me to thank God every night for all the good things that happened during the day.”
She added: “I wish I could write more, I have so much to tell you.”
A spokesperson for the National College of Journalists paid tribute to the TV anchor, stating: “Her example commits us to act with responsibility and humanity.”
