The newly crowned Miss Universe collapsed in front of thousands of people while riding on a float during a carnival procession.
Fatima Bosch was seen waving and blowing kisses to the crowd, before suddenly appearing unwell.
She seemed to faint and slump to her knees in front of hordes of onlookers.

A carnival official then rushed to help the 25-year-old, who appeared unable to get back to her feet.
The worrying scenes were filmed at the Fruit and Flower Festival in Ambato, Ecuador, yesterday (15 Feb).
The annual event is held during the carnival season to honour the city’s resilience after a devastating earthquake in 1949.
The Mexican model, who was crowned Miss Universe 2025 in November, was later attended to by paramedics at the scene.
She was relieved of her duties for the day to reportedly undergo tests.
Fatima’s representatives have yet to give an official account of what happened to her.
It’s possible she suffered from acute mountain sickness (AMS), a physical condition caused by lower oxygen levels and pressure at high altitudes.

The Ecuadorian city is located at around 8,465ft (2,580m) above sea level and visitors acclimatised to lower areas can suffer adverse effects related to this.
Miss Universe is scheduled to remain in the South American country until Wednesday as part of an official tour, as reported by Need To Know.
Although the episode caused concern at the time, the parade continued as normal and locals celebrated until the early hours of the morning.
