A suspicious person riding a stolen e-bike turned out to be a gang member on a felony warrant, caught with a fake police vest and ski mask.
Allegedly having posed as a cop, the man was rumbled from above – as it was an air unit that got him nicked.
Bird’s eye footage captured by the AIR 2 unit for the Sarasota Sheriff department racked up a whopping 28,000 views.

The suspect was seen cruising through a park after hours, then attempting to hide in the woods after getting spooked.
Unfortunately for the gang member, the air unit tracked him in the dark and led the ground officers straight to his position.
The bizarre arrest took place in Sarasota, Florida, as reported by Need To Know.
The clip, which was posted on 13 Feb, shows the man ditching the e-bike and a range of other items.
During the arrest, deputies recovered a reflective vest labeled “police,” a ski mask, gloves, glass breaker, and paraphernalia.
A background search also showed that the e-bike was stolen and that the suspect had a felony warrant out of California for a parole violation.
The check exposed that he was a gang member too.
A spokesperson for the Sarasota Sheriff’s department said: “We see you, seeing us, seeing you.

“When he tried to hide in a wooded area, deputies — guided from above — quickly located him and recovered discarded items, including a reflective vest labeled “Police,” a ski mask, gloves, glass breaker, and paraphernalia.
“The e-bike he was riding was confirmed stolen, and further investigation revealed he had an extraditable felony warrant out of California for a parole violation and shared that he’s a gang member.
“He was taken into custody without incident.
