A popular TikToker is fighting for his life after crashing into a tree.
Hernán Martínez was rushed to hospital with multiple fractures and significant blunt-force trauma.
He was in a vehicle with two other people when the driver lost control and crashed into the tree at high speed.
Emergency responders arrived at the scene to find the TikTok star trapped within the twisted metal.
The influencer, who has 68,000 TikTok fans and 12,000 Instagram followers, was rescued from the mangled wreck and rushed to hospital in a serious condition.
Hernán, who was a passenger in the vehicle, was taken to a nearby private clinic under a police escort, as reported by Need To Know.
The crash took place in the Honduran capital Tegucigalpa yesterday (16 April).
His worried mother Jessenia Leiva said on social media: “Please help me pray, my baby had an accident and wants to leave me.”
The local authorities cordoned off the crash site as forensic teams investigated whether mechanical failure or excessive speed played a role in the accident.
A National Police spokesperson said they are waiting for the results of toxicology tests, which is standard procedure in high-impact collisions.
No other vehicles were involved in the incident, and no injuries to pedestrians have been reported by the police.
Martínez’s management team has requested privacy while the creator fights for his life in critical condition in hospital.
As well as being a content creator, Hernán is also the co-owner of a steakhouse chain in Honduras.
