A lorry driver was arrested as his plane landed for the “deeply traumatic” rape of a teen.
Samet Duman was handcuffed on the runway as soon as he stepped off his flight following the horrific crime.
The 35-year-old fled the country after luring the victim into his cab and proceeding to rape the teen.

CCTV footage and extensive enquiries led to the discovery of the lorry which was later traced to Turkey.
The incident occurred on 30 Aug 2023, on London Road, Greenhithe, Kent, as reported by Need To Know.
Enquiries by investigators from the Kent Police continued until 2024 when a DNA breakthrough occurred.
DNA of the suspect was uncovered with no matches at the time – before Duman was arrested for an unrelated matter which flagged a match on the database.
Despite the conclusive match, enquiries revealed he had fled the country and was subsequently circulated as “wanted” to national and international authorities.
The police were then informed the lorry driver was set to fly into Stansted Airport on 7 Jun 2025.
Officers waited on the runway for him and put him in cuffs as soon as he set foot on UK soil.
Duman from Hilda’s Way, Gravesend, denied the offence but was convicted by a jury after a two-week trial at the Old Bailey.
The 35-year-old was sentenced to eight years and eight months in prison on 21 Apr.
Investigating officer Detective Constable James Lake said: “This was a terrifying and deeply traumatic ordeal for the victim, who was targeted by a stranger and subjected to an appalling offence.
“Her bravery in coming forward and supporting this investigation has been extraordinary, particularly given the distress she has endured.
“Through the support of the victim and her family, she was able to deliver effective evidence to help bring this predatory offender to justice.
“From the outset, Duman provided false and contradictory accounts, a pattern of dishonesty that continued throughout the investigation and at trial.
“Thanks to the victim’s courage and the perseverance of the investigative team, he has now been held fully accountable for his actions.”
