Staff can be seen fleeing for cover as the situation spirals, with the man continuing to lash out and grab items from shelves in a frenzied attack.
The incident is believed to have started after the man allegedly tried to steal alcohol before being asked to leave multiple times, as reported by Need To Know.

Instead of leaving, he hung around nearby and returned repeatedly before suddenly turning violent in what has been described as an “unprovoked” attack.
Witnesses described scenes of panic as people rushed to get out of his way while he swung wildly and threw items.
Two people – including a staff member – were assaulted during the ordeal, with one worker reportedly kicked and struck.
Police were called and the man was later arrested after also injuring himself during the outburst.
He has since been charged with multiple counts of common assault and banned from returning to the store.
Despite the frightening scenes, those caught up in the attack escaped without serious injuries, although staff admitted they were left shaken.
The drama unfolded at a liquor store in Upper Hutt, near Wellington, New Zealand.
