A hungry woman was left shocked when she spotted the face of Homer Simpson in her pancake.
Fernanda Galindo tossed her tiny crepe over in the frying pan.
She couldn’t believe her eyes when she glanced down and The Simpsons character was staring back at her.
Fernanda, of Mexicali, Mexico – on the border with the US – said: “My pancake is Homer Simpson.”
His distinctive bulging eyes and nose formed as it cooked.
But the shape of Homer’s domed head and cartoon mouth were also created.
Pal Penelope Armstrong said: “Looks like Homer Simpson.”
Lea Ann McKenzie agreed, exclaiming: “It’s Homer.”
Domine Dunn added: “Homer.”
Kat Lith quoted his catchphrase and said: “Doh.”
Lisa Campbell added: “Now I need pancakes.”
Dorothy Daniels said: “That’s so funny.”
Homer – dad of Bart – was known in the cult 90s animated sitcom for his love of food including pancakes and doughnuts.
