A commandery of the Knights Templar is now up for grabs, and it even has a dedicated crypt for fallen soldiers.
A dedicated house for crusade fighters, the building consists of nine bedrooms, five bathrooms, and an incredible history.

Built in 1001, the commandery was owned by the Knights Templar, a military order of the Christian faith during the medieval era.
Vowing to protect pilgrims on their journey to the Holy Land, they were known for their part in the Crusades, a series of religious wars between the Christian and Muslim faith from 1096 to 1291.
Despite its history, the former home of the soldiers has been entirely renovated, though elements of its history remain.

Beneath the property sits a crypt, a stone chamber beneath the floor, housing coffins and religious relics.
Surrounded by breathtaking views and a beautiful river, the house is connected by three main buildings.
The first is a south-facing home, featuring the main mansion with four bedrooms, all including private terraces.
Complete with a stunning kitchen, decorated with a navy island and a fireplace, it’s a perfect place to relax in luxury.

The second house, known as “le pavillon,” contains three bedrooms.
“La métairie”, the third house, has two bedrooms, a swimming pool, two barns, a garage, a cellar, and a boiler room.
The 10X5 metre pool, located round the back of the third building, provides incredible views, with sun loungers and wicker chairs to lounge on.
All set over seven hectares (17.2 acres) of land, the home is close to all amenities, including Bordeaux airport, shops, restaurants, and supermarkets.
Located in Aquitaine, France, the building is now for sale for £1,111,409 (€1,300,000).
