An unassuming flat with a bizarre Renaissance-style interior has hit the market for just £115,000.
From the outside, it looks just like it is in a regular semi-detached building.
But inside, it has been transformed into an art gallery.
The 1,000 sq ft property has three bedrooms.
One of the bedroom’s walls is completely covered in stonework and painted murals.

The ceiling has been painted with a pastel sky scene – similar to Renaissance-style artwork.
There are fake windows which have been painted over with images of tropical birds and water.
But there is one small window in the corner of the room that lets in daylight.
The theme runs through the rest of the home except the kitchen.
The kitchen appears slightly dated but still has modern appliances such as a washing machine and fridge.

In the hallway, the floor and stairs have been intricately painted in a mosaic-style pattern.
The living room ceiling has been fitted with beams to give it a medieval look.
The home is situated in the village of Rhu, northwest of Glasgow, Scotland.

It was previously owned by renowned artist Richard Dawson.
He passed away a few years ago after living in the town for over 30 years.
He was inspired by the famed Italian painter Michelangelo Merisi da Caravaggio.
His large-scale works include murals and paint effects that have been featured in Harrods and private residences in the Channel Islands, Switzerland, Belgium and The Netherlands.
It is being sold by Property Bureau estate agents and advertised on Rightmove.
The property listing reads: “This Upper Villa is situated in an established location close to the centre of Rhu within walking distance of local amenities.

“The property was formerly the home of renowned artist Richard Dawson who sadly passed away a few years ago however the interior of the property is truly individual with the artist having created his own work of art within the very walls of this residential home.”
