Story from Jam Press (Human Doll) Pictured: Tyler Dyvig. 'Human doll' who spent £100,000 on obsession and almost died from black-market injections REFUSED more surgery A man who has spent the last 10 years turning himself into a "human doll" and almost died on the table says that he's being refused even more surgery by concerned doctors. Tyler Dyvig has splashed over £100,000 on his transformation, with the “obsession” starting after he began having Botox at 15. The 25-year-old recently hit the headlines when revealing a near-death experience caused by "black market" BBL injections. The social media influencer has undergone a pectoral augmentation, bicep implants, and a hair transplant in the past, and despite his traumatic experience, he was determined to go under the knight once again. But now, he's changed his tune since being turned away by his regular surgeon, who has refused to carry out any further procedures. “I was going to have a jaw implant and a facelift, but the doctor turned me away immediately,” Tyler told What's The Jam. “I felt I didn’t look as masculine as I would like and I’ve had loads of filler in my jaw before, but never anything permanent. “But when I went for the consultation, the doctor flat out told me ‘no’ and said if I went through with it, it’d look like I had the mumps. “He also said my jaw was already pronounced – which I didn’t realise as I got lost in becoming a ‘better’ version of me.” Tyler, from New York, US, said the rejection came as a “wake-up call” and has reinstalled a sense of being happy in his own body once again. He said: “It actually made me feel relieved and I realised that I didn’t need any surgery to be happy with myself, as I already look great. “I don’t want a repeat of my near-death experience and while this wouldn’t be as bad, the scar would be horrendous. A man who has spent the last 10 years turning himself into a “human doll” and almost died on the table says that he’s being refused even more surgery by concerned doctors.

The social media influencer has undergone a pectoral augmentation, bicep implants and a hair transplant in the past, and despite his traumatic experience, he was determined to go under the knight once again.

But now, he’s changed his tune since being turned away by his regular surgeon, who has refused to carry out any further procedures.

“I was going to have a jaw implant and a face lift, but the doctor turned me away immediately,” Tyler told What’s The Jam.

“I felt I didn’t look as masculine as I would like and I’ve had loads of filler in my jaw before, but never anything permanent.

“But when I went for the consultation, the doctor flat out told me ‘no’ and said if I went through with it, it’d look like I had the mumps.

“He also said my jaw was already pronounced – which I didn’t realise as I got lost in becoming a ‘better’ version of me.”

Tyler, from New York, US, said the rejection came as a “wake up call” and has reinstalled a sense of being happy in his own body once again.

He said: “It actually made me feel relieved and I realised that I didn’t need any surgery to be happy with myself, as I already look great.

“I don’t want a repeat of my near-death experience and while this wouldn’t be as bad, the scar would be horrendous.

“I won’t ever make the mistake of getting black market injections again, as it could’ve easily killed me and I thank god everyday it didn’t.”

The influencer, who is working towards a nurse practitioner licence, says the consultation cost $300 (USD) (£238), with the procedure an eye-watering $13,500 (USD) (£10,730).

Now, he’s embracing his “natural” look and using his platform to raise awareness surrounding plastic surgery – and its potential dangers.

He added: “All of this has completely changed my outlook on life and I feel that I’m no longer driven by going under the knife.

“I hope to make a difference in someone else’s life with all I’ve been through.

“For now, I have many people telling me I’m natural and attractive.

“It’s very important for me to stay with a natural look and I never want to become someone who looks crazy because of being swept up in trying to look like someone they’re not.”
