A dad-of-two who left his huge dog with a pet sitter while on holiday is distraught after claiming he has been stolen.
Redford Robinson booked his beloved Cane Corso called Diego during a lengthy trip abroad.
The furious 34-year-old says he paid £2,820 for a six-month dog board in Manchester.
Construction worker Redford, of Rochdale, Gtr Mancs went on a trip to Jamaica to visit family.
He said he left seven-year-old Diego with the pet-sitting service in August.

He returned home on 24 January but had him booked in until the end of February.
Redford says he was in constant communication with the company throughout his trip.
He claims that he would receive regular updates on his dog.
But he says he hasn’t heard from the service since 30 January – leaving him distraught.
Redford claims the owner has “ghosted” him and won’t answer his calls.

Desperate to be reunited with his dog, he says he visited the building where he dropped off Diego.
But he said there was no answer.
Redford reported the incident to Greater Manchester Police.
The heartbroken dad says he just wants to know his dog is safe and not in any danger.
Redford said: “I just want him to let me know he is alright.
”I find it so weird that nobody can get hold of them.
”I was looking for someone to take care of Diego whilst I was away.
”Everything was alright at first, we were communicating all the time.”
But he claimed: “Now they won’t answer the phone to me.
“It’s weird how someone can disappear.
”I just want them to bring my dog back.
”He’s not your average dog, he’s a big dog and nearly three feet tall.”

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said: “An investigation into theft in Manchester is still ongoing at this stage with no arrests made.”
