Julez Moss, a mother from Cambridge, had an amusing experience with her Too Good To Go purchase from Aldi.
She paid a mere £6.60 through the food shop app, known for selling surplus food at discounted rates to combat waste.
Julez ordered two surprise bags from her local Aldi and collected them herself.
However, upon inspecting the contents at home, she was astonished to find 17 packets of button mushrooms in one of the bags.
Amused by the unexpected bounty, she stacked them into a tower and captured a photo.

Julez found the abundance of mushrooms hilarious and initially struggled to decide what to do with them.
She ended up freezing most of them and generously shared others with friends and family. Along with the mushrooms, she also received a pork pie and other food items.
Considering the typical price of mushrooms at Aldi, Julez estimated that she received £16.15 worth of mushrooms for her £6.60 order.
Reflecting on her experience, she shared her amusement with her daughter and ensured none of the mushrooms went to waste.
Fellow Too Good To Go customers were surprised by Julez’s order, with one joking, “Not mushroom for anything else.”

Alisha said: “I hate mushrooms, that would be my worst nightmare.”
Lucinda suggested, “Mushroom themed dinner party.”
Wendy joked, “Did you leave any for anyone else?”
