A wheelchair-bound Luton fan was shocked when he was told by Tottenham “persistent standing is not allowed” ahead of their Premier League clash.
The supporter – known only as Mark – got his ticket for the match being played tomorrow (30 Mar).
But on the £30 ticket, it states the club’s policy against fans standing during games.

This is despite it also stating his ticket is for a “wheelchair adult.”
Mark posted a photo of it on social media.
He said: “Thanks for the warning Spurs.
“Persistent standing wasn’t actually top of my to-do list.”

Luckily he took it in jest.
He added: “I’d like to add here, this is of course a joke!
“Spurs have been very good to me, providing parking right outside the ground.
“And what I’m hoping will be the best view in the Prem.
“Football away days as a disabled person can be tricky so hats off to Spurs.”
Supporters of both clubs and football fans have chipped in about the red-faced blunder.
Tottenham fan Simon Mostyn said: “Sorry you had to experience this.
“Rather insensitive to say the least.
“I’m a Spurs fan but would implore my club to do better.”

Roberto Mariano said: “Poor from Tottenham.
“At least it’s funny in an appalling way.
Patrick Graham said: “Maybe if we score a goal every ten minutes that might apply…”
Matt added: “Oh dear that’s awkward.”

Parag Patel branded the comment: “Spurs out of context.”
Tottenham has been approached for comment.
