Since its launch in 2016, the Bugatti Chiron has stood as a symbol of hyper sports car excellence, with only 500 units ever produced.
The final Chiron, aptly named ‘L’Ultime,’ represents the culmination of this remarkable era, meticulously assembled by skilled artisans in Molsheim.
Renowned for being the first road car to achieve 1,500 PS and breaking the 300 mph barrier, the Chiron’s production concludes with the same grandeur and performance that marked its inception.

This last iteration, a Super Sport model, revisits the design that wowed audiences in Geneva eight years ago. Its striking color scheme, merging ‘Atlantic Blue’ with ‘French Racing Blue’ and highlighted by a C-line of hand-polished aluminum alloy, has been reimagined by the Bugatti Sur Mesure team.
The final design showcases a captivating blend of fading hues, paying homage to the Chiron’s journey since 2016.
The unique Super Sport features a custom blue Bugatti macaron on the grille and hand-written names of significant places and events that define the Chiron’s legacy.
The creation of this final Chiron was a collaborative effort between the Sur Mesure team and a customer, resulting in a car that not only commemorates the Chiron’s milestones but also celebrates Bugatti’s rich history. The Super Sport’s sleek design embodies the ‘bullet speed’ philosophy, reflecting its top speed even when stationary.
From its debut as the most powerful, fastest, and luxurious car globally, the Chiron has consistently set new standards in automotive craftsmanship and performance. It has redefined automotive excellence through its various models, including the Chiron Sport, Chiron Pur Sport, and special editions like the Chiron Super Sport 300+ and Les Légendes du Ciel.
The legacy of the Chiron is honored on the sides of this unique Super Sport, with references to significant events such as its Geneva debut, appearances at Chantilly, and the 300 mph run at Ehra-Lessien. The car also pays tribute to Bugatti’s historic home in Molsheim and iconic locations like Château Saint Jean and Cape Canaveral.
The final Chiron proudly displays the number ‘500’ on its exterior, wheel caps, rear wing, and engraved onto the engine cover, housing the formidable Bugatti W16 powertrain. This marks a significant milestone in Bugatti’s 115-year history, with 500 masterpieces inspired by Ettore Bugatti’s vision, meant to be cherished for generations.
The craftsmanship of the Super Sport is further highlighted by the French flag on the mirror wings and the ‘Atlantic Blue’ grille featuring a special horseshoe mesh. Inside, the Chiron’s cabin complements its bespoke exterior with a symphony of carbon fiber and luxurious ‘Deep Blue’ leather and ‘Blue Carbon Matt’ finishes.
“The Bugatti brand is built on performance, craftsmanship, sophistication, and elegance,” remarked Christophe Piochon, President of Bugatti Automobiles. “This final Chiron Super Sport encapsulates the defining legacy of the Chiron family and sets the stage for a new chapter, starting with the Bolide and the W16 Mistral and continuing with our new model in June.”
With the Chiron Super Sport, Bugatti reaffirms its place at the pinnacle of automotive excellence, poised to usher in a new era of unparalleled performance, luxury, and craftsmanship.
