A suspected explosive dating back to WW2 has been found on a Cornish beach.

St Agnes Coastguards were alerted by RNLI lifeguards at Trevaunance Beach, St Agnes on 9 June 2024 (Sunday), reports Need To Know.

Due to the nature of the object, the Royal Navy’s Explosive Ordnance Disposal team were called to assess the shell.
