In the UK, gaming is probably the most popular pastime/hobby. Offering a sense of freedom, community and enjoyment, gaming can be enjoyed in various forms. In this article, we are going to be taking a look at seven YouTube channels which revolve around gaming in one form or another.
- Fooster
With over 1.2 million subscribers and more than 900 videos, Fooster is by no means a new channel but he is certainly popular. Fooster specialises in streaming himself playing primarily survival and horror games which are always fun to watch. In one of his most recent videos, Fooster played the demo of a horror game which is set in the British countryside and sees the player take up the role of a British policeman on the beat.
Fooster usually uploads anywhere between one and four times per week, and the length of his videos vary anywhere from 17 minutes up to over two hours long.
- Winters SEO
A YouTuber who records and posts his different games of Warhammer 40,000 and Horus Heresy, Winters SEO is probably the best and most popular YouTuber in this niche. With over 105k subscribers, he creates \battle reports where he plays against other YouTubers. Winters SEO is a funny guy too, so his channel offers lots of entertainment to fans of the Warhammer world.
Winters SEO uploads multiple times per week, and channel members get access to an extra battle report which is released every ‘Winters Wednesday’.
- SlotsHawk
A brand-new channel which focuses specifically on online slot games, SlotsHawk plays and reviews both new and current slots before they upload them directly to their website. They currently only have three subscribers, but at time of writing, the channel is less than one month old. They usually upload between three and five times per week, and all of their content revolves around their online slot’s sessions.
SlotsHawk are certainly one to watch out for and will appeal to UK slots fans as all of their content is UK based.
- Omega Luke
If father and son Football Manager videos interest you, then boy do we have the YouTube channel for you! Omega Luke creates various videos of himself (and usually also his Dad) playing the popular video game, Football Manager. They do challenges against one another and take over a whole manor of different clubs. Their most exciting series’ consist of Glory Hunter challenges which are set over multiple videos, with the guys racing against one another to win specific trophies as quickly as possible over multiple in-game seasons.
Although Omega Luke uploads a mixture of videos by himself as well as ones with his father, his most popular videos are the ones which feature the duo.
- PokeHex
A different type of gaming for you yet again, PokeHex videos consist simply of him (and sometimes his wife) opening Pokemon booster packs. PokeHex sometimes spends up and beyond £50,000 on specific Pokemon booster card sets which he then opens in front of a camera so we can watch.
PokeHex’s pack openings consist of different Pokemon cards too, but our favourite ones are from the original set of Pokemon cards. PokeHex has rather inconsistent uploads but usually you will get at least two videos per week from him.
- Best At Nothing
One of my personal favourite YouTubers, Best At Nothing has two great (and incredibly funny) series’ where he plays through Shadow of War and Hitman. His commentary is by far the highlight of his channel, the only downside is how infrequently he creates new videos these days. He has only released two new videos within the last 10 months unfortunately.
However, if you are not aware of his channel, then you have a goldmine of over 350 videos to be entertained by. BestAtNothing last uploaded a video three months ago which revolves around Dragon’s Dogma 2.
- CyberHeroMM3
A super simple YouTuber which will only appeal to certain gamers, namely, those who have ever played or still do play a game called Heroes of Might and Magic 3. The premise of the channel is simple, he updates the portraits of the hero characters from the game so they appear through a HD lens. Rarely do his videos go over one minute long and he only has 47 videos in total with his last upload being one year ago.
Essentially, the YouTube channel has come to an end because he updated all the heroes in the game with fresh and clear images! Still, if you have ever had an interest in the game, CyberHeroMM3 is a fun and lesser-known YouTube channel to take a look at.
In conclusion, there are tens of thousands of excellent YouTube gaming channels out there. Such channels consist of endless hours of fun and entertaining content. If you have been inspired by any of the YouTube channels, you can easily create your own channel and upload your own videos too!
