A warning has been issued after thousands of tons of rocks crashed onto a beauty spot beach.
A coastal path has been closed following the massive cliff fall.
The HM Coastguard sent the Beer Coastguard Rescue Team, to Devon, to investigate the fall between Peak Hill and High Peak in Sidmouth on Saturday.
The service closed the path and asked people to avoid the area.
People were advised to stay from the cliff edge, take note of the warning signs, and call 999 and ask for the coastguard if anyone was in difficulty.

East Devon District Council also warned beach-goers to stay away from the cliffs along the coastline, which can be unpredictable because of their soft nature.
A spokesman said: “Following a cliff fall in Sidmouth we’d like to remind visitors to keep their distance from cliffs along the East Devon coastline.
“Cliff falls are a natural and unpredictable occurrence along the East Devon coast because the rock from which the cliffs are formed is soft and therefore prone to rock falls and landslides, which can happen at any time.

“If in doubt, don’t walk under or near the cliffs.”
Local man Richard Hignett said the fall was huge.
“This is enormous,” he told Need To Know.
“It’s wiped out a big section of the southwest coast footpath.
“If anyone was on the footpath at the wrong moment they would be under that rubble.”
Ian Hosker was also stunned at the size of the fall.
“It’s the largest for a very long time,” he said.
“I’ve been here 30 years and this is the largest I’ve seen.”
