The pilot was obliged to make a forced landing just yards from the busy road after losing engine power.
The malfunction happened during the initial climb after take-off from the Yessentuki Airfield in Stavropol Krai, Russia.
The plane crash-landed 2 km (1.2 mi) west of the airfield, as reported by Need To Know.

Official reports say nine people, including an eight-year-old girl, were on board.
