A woman who has spent the last seven years single is now ditching dating men her own age in favour of embracing her inner “cougar”.
Hayli Hooper lives a double life as a nurse and stripper.
The 38-year-old turned to the pole in an effort to make more money to cover her living expenses, tax payments and investments.
But the raunchy side gig has caused difficulty dating-wise, with older men often turning her down when they find out about it.
Fed up with being judged, Hayli is now flipping her dating pool for a younger crowd.
She’s even “swapping toyboys” with like-minded female friends and apparently, the sex is “amazing”.
“I’m not trying to rush anything but I’m getting older,” Hayli, who boasts 56,000 followers on Instagram (@haylihooper ), told Need To Know.
“Guys my age don’t want anything fun.
“All they want is some kind of step-mum for their kids.
“And they always bring along baggage from being with their ex-wives.
“More often than not, though, they’re so judgmental.
“It makes them boring and I’m not interested in the slightest.
“I don’t think they are really too keen on me, either.
“I don’t mean to date younger.
“But they approach me and I end up sleeping with them.
“Maybe it’s the energy I give off.”
Hayli has been shortlisted for a TV show to help her find love but until then, she is keeping up her cougar ways.
And the young men are more than happy to oblige.
She said: “Once, a 21-year-old saved up all his money so he could take me out to dinner and have a nice day.
“I don’t know why they [younger men] are attracted to me.
“It’s so common though for older men to be celebrated for dating younger.
“We don’t ever talk about how there’s so many women out there, too, that have already hit their sexual peak and men their age aren’t interested.
“It’s something I see so common with women my age these days – it’s crazy.
“So we go for younger guys and we’re usually slammed for it.
“[My friends and I] are all open and honest about our sexual experiences, so we pass on the boys once we’re finished and give feedback.
“These guys love it.
“Obviously, though, anything serious with them is off the cards.
“Younger men are usually broke, so it can be a bit harder to explore anything further.
“But they really do try so hard – and the s*x is incredible.
“They’re just willing to give anything a go, which I really admire.”
Hayli, who is from Western Australia and has purchased two homes with her estimated £150,000 annual income, is also travelling the world to explore her options.
But she’s not going to settle for just anyone.
She added: “I am going to be cutthroat when choosing a partner.
“I don’t want to settle down with someone just for the sake of it.
“They’ve got to be right for me; and agree with everything I’m doing.
“For now, I’m having fun with lots of young guys and that’s fine.
“I’m not ready to have a quiet life.
“When the time comes, I will retrieve my eggs and start a family.
“It just might be a little later in life than I thought.”
