The owner of the iconic apartment from the hit TV series Sex and The City has hit out at tourists who visit it to take selfies.
The property was used regularly to film scenes, acting as the home of series lead Carrie Bradshaw, and often attracts hoards of fans visiting New York.
Footage of the moment was captured by a passerby and later shared on social media, garnering over 260,000 views.

In the clip, the owner of the home speaks out to tourists gathered by the front steps, having apparently asked the group to disperse.
He can be heard saying: “I try not to do this but sometimes people cross a line.
“Thank you for understanding, have a great day.
“And remember – this is not empty, it is a private home.
“And it is not Carrie’s, it’s mine.”
The man then goes back into his home, which is an 1866 brownstone in the West Village.
The video was taken on Monday (17 March) and has since garnered thousands of likes and comments, as reported by Need To Know.
One viewer, called Sarah, commented: “I love him. What a kind way to address them given he must be on his last nerve with this every day.”

Michele commented: “Why are people going to a fictional characters house is beyond me.”
Dee added: “He was very respectful! Now respect his wishes!”
Jared joked: “I bet Mr Big is in there with him.”
Brigit said: “He’s absolutely right. He is nice. I really hope people respect his privacy.”

At the start of the year, the owner’s partner, who lives there with him, asked New York’s Landmarks Preservation Commission for permission to install a steel and cast iron gate at the bottom of the steps in a bid to keep away tourists.
She wrote in the application: “My home is now a global tourist destination.
“They climb over the chain, pose, dance or lie down on the steps, climb to the top to stare in the parlour windows, try to open the main entrance door, or, when drunk late at night, ring the doorbells.”
The couple already have a ‘no trespassing’ sign placed on the bottom step of the property, but it hasn’t been enough to deter fans so far.
