A nursery teacher has been suspended from her role after she had created a profile on OnlyFans.
Elena Maraga may never return to the classroom after swift action was taken against her.
The 29-year-old was left upset after being suspended, and felt that the situation also impacted her students.
Elena’s profile on the online platform was discovered by a parent of one of her students who immediately reported back to her place of work.
This led to an internal investigation led by the Catholic institution which resulted in her being dismissed from her teaching role.
Elena, who has over 16,000 followers on Instagram, decided to start an OnlyFans account just over one month ago, as reported on Need To Know.
She quickly gained popularity on the platform, and revealed in an interview with local press that she can earn one month’s salary in one day.
“I opened OnlyFans a month ago, a little bit for fun, but also out of curiosity and to see if it would earn me money,” Elena, who lives in Treviso, Italy, said.
“I posted some photos and the profile exploded – in one day I can get a month’s salary.
“As a teacher I get about £1,000 to £1,088 per month, but with OnlyFans the figures are very different.
“I don’t know who found my profile, but I believe it was the mother or father of one of my students.
“They recognised me because of my profile picture.
“It has become public knowledge on the mothers’ Facebook groups.
“There are some mums who want to support me, and want me to keep teaching their children.
“I see nothing wrong with exalting one’s own femininity and sensuality.”
Whilst Elena, who is also a bodybuilder that has competed and won various competitions, loves being a teacher, she feels it is something she will not go back to.
Despite five years working at the Catholic nursery, Elena has already begun studying for a new role as a personal trainer.
She has stated that she feels the world of personal training is more open minded, and she feels having an OnlyFans in this profession will be more ‘accepted’.
Since the news of her suspension from teaching broke, she has also said her followers on the platform have skyrocketed.
She told local press that there have been so many to the point where ‘she doesn’t control them anymore’.
