A bitter ex has reportedly confessed to killing and dumping the body of a university student found in a suitcase down a ravine.
Ilaria Sula went missing nine days ago, and her worried family reported her disappearance on Saturday (29 Mar).
On Tuesday (1 Apr) night, her former boyfriend, Mark Antony Samson, went to a police station and is said to have confessed to killing her.

Chillingly, he reportedly told the on-duty officers: “Go get her. I threw her into a ravine and put her body in a suitcase.”

A large case with Ilaria’s body inside was found in an area of woodland at dawn on Wednesday (2 Apr).
Detectives now believe the crime took place in the flat where Samson – who was born in Italy to Filipino parents – 23, lived with his parents.
They think he stabbed the 22-year-old statistics student several times with a kitchen knife, as reported by Need To Know.

He allegedly kept her body in the flat for several hours before packing it into a suitcase and putting it in his car.
He then drove about 25 miles from Rome, Italy, to Poli, where he threw the case into a ravine, it is claimed.
Over the following days, he sent messages from Ilaria’s phone in a bid to make her loved ones believe she was alive, it’s alleged.
He eventually dropped the phone down a drain, it is understood.
Chillingly, Ilaria’s 19-year-old brother, Leon, told local media: “The last time I spoke to Ilaria was two weeks ago when she came to visit us.

“She seemed fine.
“After that, it was only messages, but I’m not sure she was the one who wrote them.”
During questioning, Samson reportedly said: “I’m sorry for what I did.”
But he did not elaborate on the motive or the details, it is claimed.
Detectives are now working to determine whether the killing was premeditated or happened in the heat of the moment.

They also want to know if Samson’s parents, who were at home at the time of the crime, aided and abetted him.
Ilaria’s father, Flamur, told local media how he had received suspicious messages from her phone.
He said: “She kept repeating, ‘Don’t worry, I’m fine.’ That made us suspicious. If it was really my daughter, she would have called.
“On Saturday, we went to file a missing person report.
“Then on Sunday, we met my daughter’s boyfriend at the police station. We didn’t even know they had broken up.
“He told us he was really sorry and worried about her disappearance. He seemed calm, and he even gave me a hug.”
Ilaria – of Albanian origin – had moved from the family home in Terni to Rome to study at the prestigious Sapienza University.

It was there she met architecture student Samson, who is of Filipino descent.
Leon said: “I knew him. They were together for a year but had broken up. My parents were never really convinced about that relationship.”
Roberto Gualtieri, the mayor of Rome, said: “Ilaria’s death is a terrible blow to the whole city.
“We can’t stay indifferent to yet another unacceptable femicide.”
