A museum visitor accidentally knocked over a valuable piece of art in an unfortunate mishap.
Alan Nerio was visiting the exhibition when he witnessed the clumsy act.
In a video of the incident, which received 154,000 views, art lovers can be seen admiring several installations which appear to resemble large stones on stands.

But one of them has been smashed – and shards of clay can be seen scattered across the ground.
Alan said: “We went to the museum and just happened to see a piece being torn down.”
The art belonged to the exhibition Romantic Primitivism by the artist Zhivago Duncan, as reported by Need To Know.
According to local press, someone stumbled into the museum piece, causing it to fall.
Zhivago’s work is known to combine worn materials and aims to symbolise the fragility of contemporary civilisation.
Fractures in the artwork is often part of the concept – but in this case damage was not intentional.
The Romantic Primitivism exhibition has been open to the public since November 2024 and its closure was scheduled for April of this year.
The damage was caused accidentally by a visitor.
Alan revealed that other visitors quickly intervened.
He said: “They cleaned everything up super fast and helped the man away.”
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Monterrey, in Mexico, has not yet released a statement on the incident.

But Alan’s video attracted many comments.
One viewer said: “Oh no, just the last time I went I told my sister that I would like to witness someone throw something away in the museum hahahaha.”
A second person added: “In the end it is contemporary art, not much was lost.”

“I think if the curator made a mistake, the installation is very unstable. Especially if people are going to walk through the pieces,” said Aleko.
Carol said: “How much will it cost? I’m worried.”
“I once tripped over one that was like bricks and I felt so sorry hahaha,” a fifth viewer added.
